The Gospel of John

17 11 2011

This past weekend, I went to a retreat in Kentucky and one of the speakers there did and indepth lecture on John 17. One of the things he pointed out was that Most people associate Matthew 6: 9-13 as the Lord’s Prayer, but the Lord’s Prayer is actually John 17.

As the speaker explained the prayer, I found it to be one of the most beautiful and loving prayers ever prayed. Imagine, someone who knows He is on His way to the cross, hours before, takes the time to pray for us. It makes me cry to think that sometimes I become to busy to take the time to pray.
